PROUD AMPTHILL & FLITWICK

Welcome to Proud Ampthill & Flitwick
Proud Ampthill & Flitwick (Proud AF) is a grant-funded joint initiative with Ampthill Town Council, which offers a range of new services and events for the LGBTQ+ community and allies.
Working together with LGBT Bedfordshire, Proud AF officially launched on Thursday 9th February at a LGBTQ+ History Month Reception at The Rufus Centre.
It was great to see many people attend the event which was a fantastic opportunity to bring our local LGBTQ+ community together. It is something that has never been done before and we are delighted to be able to serve another group of residents in our community. The reception was the perfect opportunity to meet new people, talk about our community's past, present and future and hear from different speakers on their experiences.
