Flitwick Community Fridge is open!

Councillors and staff gathered this morning to stock and officially open the Community Fridge at The Rufus Centre Flitwick. A big thank you to Tina Connell, Flitwick Co-Op Community Pioneer for joining us and for the generous donations.

The fridge and baskets are brimming with a wonderful selection of vegetables, fruits, bread, milk, desserts, fruit juice and much more. Pop in today any time until 8pm, or Saturday from 8am to 2pm (until stocks last) and help yourself!

Designed to provide support for residents with the cost of living crisis and rising food costs, and to help reduce food waste, the Community Fridge will be open Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and 8am to 2pm on Saturdays.
