Councillors Raise £200 for Charity at Family Fun Day

An incredible £200 was raised for charity at the Flitwick Family Fun Day on Saturday 25th September thanks to donations from everyone who wanted to give FTC Councillors a good soaking in the pillory stocks!
The money will be shared between this year’s Town Mayor’s charities,  Mind BLMK and Respite at Home Volunteers West Mid Beds and Ivel Valley
A big thank you to Town Mayor, Cllr Andy Snape, Cllr James Gleave, Cllr Gareth Mackey and Cllr Russ Shaw for volunteering to be the targets for plenty of wet sponges, super soakers and buckets of water!
Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day such a successful community event.
