SHARE YOUR VIEWS ON PLANNING – NEW PLANNING SURVEY LAUNCHED

Residents are encouraged to share their views on planning and development in Flitwick by completing a new Planning Survey.

Whilst Central Bedfordshire Council, as the Planning Authority, primarily deals with planning matters, the Town Council has a role as a statutory consultee. In May 2022, a new Planning Improvement Group was formed with a mix of councillors and residents to ensure the group’s views on planning matters are representative of the views of people in the town.
The key aim of the group is to engage with Central Bedfordshire Council, residents, and developers to try to influence plans before they reach an advanced stage.  The Planning Survey will help identify key areas for the group to focus on in the future and provide a better understanding of residents’ views of planning in Flitwick.
