Keep Cool At The Rufus Centre

The Town Council is offering sanctuary from the extreme hot weather at The Rufus Centre tomorrow (Monday 18th July).
There are no bookings in the Lockyer Suite on Monday so we are opening it up for use to anyone who wants to come down and keep cool.
The room is fully air conditioned with free Wi-Fi and cold water available. There will be plenty of seating and a few games and activities for children. We do also have a small library of books available.
If you know any elderly or vulnerable people please let them know. We will be open 9am until 4pm so if you want to escape the heat on what is predicted to be one of the hottest days on record, you are more than welcome to come for a few hours or stay with us all day.
