Fun Palace Returns To Flitwick

Flitwick Fun Palace is back! Last year’s event was a great success with people taking the opportunity to learn new skills and try a wide range of activities from Morris Dancing, Karate and Book Folding to learning to play Bridge and the Ukulele!

This year’s Fun Place takes place on the weekend of 3rd-4th October. Fun Palaces is an ongoing national campaign for community at the heart of culture and culture at the heart of every community. Each year local people are encouraged to get together to create a weekend of arts, craft, tech, science digital, heritage and sport activities to form their own local Fun Palace.

Flitwick Town Council and Flitwick Library are organising this year’s event. To help keep our community safe we are looking for local people to contribute videos and/or activity sheets for things people can try at home.

If you have a talent or skill you would like to share with residents at this year’s Fun Palace please contact Zoe Putwain via zoeputwain@flitwick.gov.uk or call 01525 631900.
