Regrettably, due to vandalism Althorp Play Area is closed for the time being until repairs can be carried out.
We appreciate that this is an important facility for the local community, particularly as we are just at the start of the school summer holidays. Repairs will be carried out as soon as possible, however we are unable to give a timescale due to the extent and cost of repairs needed.
The vandalism has been reported to the Police. If anyone has knowledge or information of the incident please contact Bedfordshire Police by dialling 101 and quoting crime reference number BP/26072022/0264.
We apologise for any inconvenience due to the closure of the play area and thank residents for your cooperation and understanding. An update will be given as soon as the work is complete.
