BIG HELP OUT FOR KING CHARLES III CORONATION WEEKEND

We had a  great turnout for the ‘Big Help Out’ Litter Pick yesterday at Station Road open space. Over 80 people worked hard to clear more than 40 bags of rubbish for this special community project as part of the King Charles III Coronation weekend. Our own royal figures made a special appearance to support the project!
A massive thank you to everyone who came along, particularly Flitwick Scout Group for providing very welcome refreshments for everyone and for the fun activities they organised, and to The Big Beds Clean Up for supplying equipment.
We hope it has inspired residents to get involved in volunteering with community groups and projects across the town.
The next Flitwick Litter Pick is on Sunday 18th June from 10am to 12 noon at Enterprise Way. Everyone welcome.
