TOWN MAYOR RAISES INCREDIBLE £7,150 FOR CITIZENS ADVICE MID BEDS AND FLITWICK FOOD EXTRA

The fantastic amount of £7,150 has been raised by Cllr Andy Snape, Flitwick Town Mayor during his mayoral year for his chosen charities – Citizens Advice Mid Bedfordshire and  Flitwick Food Extra.
Town Mayor, Cllr Andy Snape and Deputy Town Mayor, Cllr Clare Thompson presented cheques at The Rufus Centre to Jo Hansen-Cole, Citizens Advice Mid Beds, and to Revd Claire Harald and Sophie Tucker, Flitwick Food Extra, with both charities receiving £3,575 each.
This amazing amount could not have been achieved without the generosity of everyone who has supported the different Town Mayor’s charity events over the last twelve months.
A big thank you to all of you; your contribution will make a big difference to the work of these two local charities who are busier than ever supporting our local community.
