PROUD AMPTHILL & FLITWICK

COLOUR HEART

Proud AF (Proud Ampthill & Flitwick) is our new grant-funded joint initiative with Ampthill Town Council, which will offer a range of new services and events for the LGBTQ+ community and allies, allowing us to serve yet another group of residents in our community.
Working together with LGBT Bedfordshire, Proud AF will be launching on Thursday 9th February at a LGBTQ+ History Month Reception at The Rufus Centre from 6pm to 8pm.
Everyone is invited to join us for this free event which will be a fantastic opportunity to bring our local LGBTQ+ community together and something that’s never been done before! There will be a chance to meet new people, talk about our community’s past, present and future and hear about our upcoming plans for Proud AF.
There’s lots planned for the coming months including author sessions with Central Bedfordshire Council Libraries, youth activities, social events and diversity training for local businesses, building up to a Pride Picnic on 4th June in Ampthill Park.
