Message from Cllr Andy Snape, Town Mayor
‘On behalf of the Town Council and the people of Flitwick, I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the longest-reigning British monarch. Our deepest condolences are with the Royal Family.
We can all learn so much from Her Majesty’s inspirational example of service, leadership and dedication to communities all over this country and worldwide.
God save the King’
A book of condolence will be available at The Rufus Centre from Monday 12th September.
Anyone wishing to lay flowers should place them in the area immediately behind the war memorial.
Further announcements will be made by the Council through its social media channels and our website regarding the forthcoming Proclamation, church services and any other acts of remembrance.
