Volunteers Needed For New History Project

The Town Council is looking for volunteers to get involved in an exciting new project dedicated to bringing the history of Flitwick alive.
We are recruiting residents to join a working group to help develop and manage a ‘Flitwick Memories’ website which will include online history of the Town, its people and past events.
The new searchable website will be able to include video, image and audio files, as well as just text. Each ‘memory’ will be capable of being pinned onto a virtual map of Flitwick and will be searchable by content, type and location
Cllr Ian Blazeby, Cllr Dan Toinko and Cllr Martin Platt together with residents will form the collaborative Heritage working group.
If you would like to know more about the project and working group, please contact ianblazeby@flitwick.gov.uk
