NO INCREASE IN FLITWICK PRECEPT FOR 2021/22

There will be no increase in the precept for the residents of Flitwick this year. At last night’s Town Council meeting (19th January 2021), Councillors unanimously agreed a budget that saw no increase in the Flitwick Town Council precept, the proportion of Council Tax per household that supports the work that FTC carries out in the Town.
Town Mayor, Councillor Jeremy Dann said: “Members recognised that the current Covid-19 crisis has brought financial concerns to many of our residents. In these uncertain times, we felt that it was inappropriate to increase our element of the council tax burden upon the people of Flitwick.”
