Christmas Lights Celebrations in Flitwick

The Flitwick community celebrated the Christmas Lights Switch On today with a welcome return of a Christmas Tree in the town centre.
Hundreds of people joined in the festivities in the area outside Barclays Bank, newly purchased by the Town Council.
Local traders and organisations sold festive gifts, food and drink throughout the afternoon. Santa made a special visit, much to the delight of children and after the countdown to the switch on, Ampthill Town Band accompanied the crowd singing carols around the Christmas Tree.
With snow falling as the countdown began it really was a magical start to the Christmas festivities in Flitwick.
