Volunteering Opportunities
Flitwick Town Council offers many volunteering opportunities, from our Community Fridge to working groups at our beautiful parks and green open spaces. Below you'll find details of all the current opportunities and how you can get involved.
NATURE PARK WORKING GROUP
We are building a small group of volunteers interested in supporting the ongoing care and development of Flitwick Nature Park on Maulden Road. There's an opportunity to learn new skills along the way including the traditional and sustainable practice of hazel coppicing.
A special event is being held on Wednesday 29th September from 7pm to 9pm at The Rufus Centre to find out more about the opportunities to get involved. Contact sarahburgess@flitwick.gov.uk for more information or call 01525 631900.
MANOR PARK WORKING GROUP
The Manor Park Working Group is an established group of volunteers but we are always looking for more volunteers to join them!

FLITWICK COMMUNITY FRIDGE
The Flitwick Community Fridge is a registered charity, dedicated to saving food waste and supporting people in need. Volunteers to help with collections and operating sessions are always needed. Contact suequin@flitwick.gov.uk or call 01525 631900 to find out more.
LITTER PICKING
We regularly hold litter picks across Flitwick Town Council land with volunteers of all ages coming together to help keep our town clean and litter free. Look out for news of the latest dates on our social media pages.
A special litter pick challenge is planned for September. More details to follow soon!
