MISSION STATEMENT
The Local Amenities Committee will strive to deliver by Best Practice and Best Value the maintenance of its open spaces and equipment.

CHAIRMAN’S COMMENTS (INTRODUCTION)
Welcome to the first Local Amenities Strategic Plan.   It represents a clear statement of our short, medium and long term priorities and aspirations spread over the next three years.

As the mission statement indicated by adopting best practice, we will be delivering quality services at best value.   This will protect and enhance our environment, green infrastructure, open spaces and equipment.

To deliver this plan, an administrative review will need to include setting targets and measures to monitor our progress and performance.

The Strategic Plan is transparent and shows how implementation will be approached and delivered.

It also includes provision for regular reviews and updates with the intention for the plan to run beyond the first three years, the objective being to achieve continuous improvement in the services we provide.
